Who We Are:

Bryan Buchanan is an independent Christian missionary working in the remote villages of Guatemala. Bryan served in the US Air Force as an oral surgery technician and then became a Firefighter / Paramedic as a civilian.

Our Goal:

Is to bring the message of Jesus Christ through Medical and Dental outreach programs.

We host short-term mission teams of Doctors, Nurses, Dentists, church adult and youth teams, and non-medical personal who just want to come and help those less fortunate.

We are located on the beautiful Rio Dulce river basin which is 4 ½ hours from the international airport in Guatemala City.

We specialize in helping the remote Mayan Indian villages where there is no medical or dental care.

If you would like to come and help the work in these villages, you can come on a mission team and actually do patient care even if you have no medical experience.

Teams are divided up into groups of two and assigned a station. You will be taught to do what ever you are comfortable in doing. It may be giving out adult and children’s vitamins, or you may be treating skin infections, or giving out worm medicine, or washing lice from a Childs hair. Some people are more comfortable in working in the pharmacy and dispensing medications. If you are up to it, you may assist in delivering a baby or pulling teeth, as long as you are willing to help there is a place for you.

Some teams prepare dramas or skits to share the message of Jesus Christ and the villagers love it. The Guatemalan people are friendly and grateful people.
